also i really love how different wangji and xichen are. you can tell the two apart rather easily. yes, we know xichen is much more social and smiley than his brother. but i like thinking about the less noticeable things. especially in regard to the rules, to the way either one takes them. wangji took them exactly how they were, followed them according to how they were written. while i believe xichen has a more in self made, and flexible belief in them. i think it'd a product of their age gap when lan qiren took them in and raised them in his own brother's place. like they were both in different places mentally. so their uncle's teachings stuck differently.
