I like the world of FF. Though what would be really cool to me is a cyberpunk world with very small touches of magic, like subtle magic.

Wouldn't that basically be FF VII and VIII? Both have very advanced technology (VIII more than VII, but VII is closer to the darker version of cyberpunk) with magic, but magic isn't as integrated into everyday lives. The most the average person in those worlds comes in contact with magic is power being provided by Mako reactors.
