Acrylic on linen canvas size 30“ x 40“ . in 2015 and very nice lady who was a teacher of my two younger daughters at the ballet school purchased this painting and kept it for about six months. Then she asked to exchange it for something else. This is my “exchange policy”. 1. My art collectors can exchange any painting from many years ago for anything they want the same size, or pick something bigger and pay a little more( or two smaller art works ). This is how this masterpiece looked three months ago. But I made some “improvements” and it made this painting not recognizable anymore. I love digital photography technology we have today. I can keep in my little iPhone 3000 images and organized them in portfolios and “ follow the history of development of one particular painting” 🙀( for instance). As an artist I analyze my process. as Socrates said “unexamined life is not worth living”. This is so strange my memory is so selective and it remembers small facts. what I learned from what people told me and after 30 or 40 years. these memories have a huge impact on my today’s behavior and choices. “ To be an artist is a destiny.
