1. @likepigsfortheslaughter / @hystericalbrat / all your other blogs - i’m so sorry i’m shit at replying to our thread on disco.rd but you’re such a saint for being patient with me. you’ve been a very good friend to have and a very nice person to talk to. i feel very comfortable with you, and i hope we can continue being friends for a while! your characters, OC and canon alike are fantastic and i’m always happy to get to write with you even if i’m slow as shit

2. @ridesagain - we haven’t talked much and haven’t written together yet ( i’ve got your starter on my to-do list ) but i’ve admired you from afar for a very long time tbh, and i’m so glad i’m finally going to be writing with you! your hog is absolutely amazing. just perfect. i’m living for it. you write so nicely, too, and i always enjoy what i happen upon on the dash. you seem like a lovely person as well!

❥ - a childhood memory

Childhood memories were hard to come by for Jamison. It all seemed so long ago, most of it forgotten and faded by years of radiation seeping into his mind, explosions rattling his thoughts. His subconscious still clung to a precious few from before everything went to shit…

He was quite young - maybe only around two or three - when his small family had made the drive out to the coast. Jamie had never seen so much water in one place! His eyes caught on every shimmer of golden sunshine gleaming off the waves and he breathed in the salty scent of the sea. 

The tot ran on complete impulse and toddled off toward the inviting swell of cooling waters and the people splashing around in it. “Hold up, there, Jamie!” A male’s voice, cheerful and full, and Jamison turned around with a smile to the faceless man. There was a woman at his side, long blonde hair mimicking the waves that rolled across the ocean’s surface and her belly swollen with an unborn child. She laughed and it was a light, sunny sound, and Jamie found himself rushing back to cling at his mother’s legs with a cheerful grin.

Ah hell. Well, @gettingjunkywithit it always a fantastic riot. @dustysixshooter and @itshighnxxn are amazing McCrees who give new ideas for how Jesse and Ashe interact. @fromtheshadcws and @dontcallmeahero are making me ship Reaper/76 now (and @fromtheshadcws is also making me ship Reaper/Sombra with help from @booptheworld). Then there’s @chronal-anomaly, who is my favorite of all the breads. And although we don’t interact much, @likepigsfortheslaughter is a great Roadhog and a good supporter of all the Junkrashe stuff @gettingjunkywithit and I get ourselves into. So...they’re all my favorite and you can’t make me choose.

     WRENCH IN HAND the pilot cranks the last bit onto her current project. oh, it’s not quite right but she rubs the sweat from her brow – pulling down her headset to her neck with a soft sigh. it doesn’t knock the smile from her face, however – determined to be persistent to the end as she could be. she couldn’t just give up – after all, nothing came easy, she knows that now. her culture is rooted in perseverance && a will to do keep at it, keep moving forward && evolving. even out of school she kept to learning – not because society told her to, not because she needed to, but because she wanted to && she wanted to survive past the fear in her gut that one of these days, so soon, she’ll be unable to think on her feet && she’ll fall to the gwishin. 

      too many close calls for all of them – too many injuries && times she nearly had to mourn her teammates. too many times she stared directly into the face of death && accepted it fully but it never came. 

      she survives.

      a soft laugh leaves her – playful in a way but there’s a sort of bitterness behind it.

      ❝ i can fix my own mech – i even made my own light gun. but you know what they say: 원숭이도 나무에서 떨어진다. even experts can mess up! i wouldn’t really call myself an expert – but i got your back! i’ll fix this, no problem! ❞

how odd. - of course, seeing a large, masked man with a hook was always weird, yet seeing him not attempting to coral the much slimmer junker was quite obscure.

it was hard to tell given the mask and lack of general talking, but he certainly seemed out of his element.  did he have a quarrel with jamison?

of course, he knew that he wasn’t a fan of omnics, so zenyatta very much kept his distance, not making direct contact with the man and letting himself be vunerable to show he didn’t come for harm.
