Some little facts about my Junkrat’s prosthetics! He’s a handy dandy guy who thinks for every situation! Almost, he tries though. This list is NOT COMPLETE and CAN BE CHANGED over time.

The arm:    >> his middle finger and thumb, when he snaps, act like a flint and steel, while the tips of all his fingers (excluding the pointer finger) can act as matches and stay lit    >> his pointer finger doesn’t act like a match like the others because he can remove the top finger cap to reveal a lighter    >> the round part around his wrist has a tape measure in it    >> the three round knobs on the elbow piece can be unscrewed and used as small primed grenades

The leg:    >> all the orange parts are able to light a match without fail    >> he can PROBABLY take it off and rearrange it to use it as a blow torch    >> the smaller screw pegs operate as bottle openers, the large ones are kept sharp around the edges to open cans

Buzzing, buzzing, always buzzing. You have any idea how hard it is to paint fingernails when both hands, flesh and robotic, refuse to stop shaking? Of course not. This seemed to be a Junkrat related issue.

Jamison squinted down at the nails of his left hand, the cap and brush of the nail polish quivering in his right, and made another pass over his thumb. The black goo clumped and spilled over the sides and onto his dirty skin, eliciting a growl of frustration from the junker. “Son of a....” 

All he wanted was to be able to repaint his stupid fingernails, and apparently even that was too much to ask.

❥ - a childhood memory

Childhood memories were hard to come by for Jamison. It all seemed so long ago, most of it forgotten and faded by years of radiation seeping into his mind, explosions rattling his thoughts. His subconscious still clung to a precious few from before everything went to shit…

He was quite young - maybe only around two or three - when his small family had made the drive out to the coast. Jamie had never seen so much water in one place! His eyes caught on every shimmer of golden sunshine gleaming off the waves and he breathed in the salty scent of the sea. 

The tot ran on complete impulse and toddled off toward the inviting swell of cooling waters and the people splashing around in it. “Hold up, there, Jamie!” A male’s voice, cheerful and full, and Jamison turned around with a smile to the faceless man. There was a woman at his side, long blonde hair mimicking the waves that rolled across the ocean’s surface and her belly swollen with an unborn child. She laughed and it was a light, sunny sound, and Jamie found himself rushing back to cling at his mother’s legs with a cheerful grin.
