This was-- not what he was expecting, to say the least. Not that he was expecting any of this auction nonsense, but he really wasn’t expecting little April Argent to be the winning bid. Well, she wasn’t little anymore. She was just April Argent, all grown up. The memories they shared-- they weren’t pretty, so he wasn’t sure how this date was going to go. “ Miss Argent, ” he greeted as he walked into the rink, their meeting destination. “ Long time no see, ” he added, offering a small smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.
