“Ruby!” Yang’s scream echoes around them as she watches red--too much red--spill from her sister. Caused by a red blade from a red-haired man and--now Yang’s eyes are burning. Blake screams something at her, but all Yang can focus on is how quickly she can take down Adam. First Blake, now Ruby? No more. Yang will end this--and especially him--now. She charges. The world ignites.

“How did you get that?”

Blake paused as she got ready for bed. Her bow had just been taken off--something still relatively new since she outed herself--and the younger girl was obviously referring to a scar on one of her ears. It flicked in irritation, though Blake hid the emotion from her face as she turned to face Ruby. She still considered the leader childish, though respect for her was gradually growing by the day. But it wasn’t enough for her to tell the truth. Not yet at least. Instead of the truth--a White Fang rally gone wrong--she smiled reassuringly at Ruby and said, “I accidentally slammed it in the door.”
