I dislike Arya and Eggon the Fake because ppl have tried to make it RxL 2.0 or bigger than what it really is, a crack ship. ewww my son would never take up with a snobby lady whom he would clash with at every turn. but now I'm curious what trash fic did you read lol? I feel like you're right. ppl in the fandom don't really write book!Arya/book!Gendry as opposed to their show counterparts. I guess it's easier for ppl to write but it's also makes fics that much harder to read because you don't recognize the characters.
