Gonna do what feels like the impossible.

sit and go through all the animations/poses I have and try to delete what I don't and probably will never use.

I've found myself trying to find certain poses and can't because I have so many (that's my fault from when I was hyperfixated on finding stuff for Tam when I thought I was going to do a lot for her summer on tour).

Now I need certain things for Kali & A.J. and can't find them easily.

Anyway, it's update day. Make sure you go offline, or backup your stuff if you're going to update.

I'm not (and hopefully EA don't catch me slipping when I'm moving my PC back upstairs after work), but y'all be easy in these update streets.

This 2000's webcomic character has always been a conflicting presence in my mind. I grew up with it, but never understood their "intended" purpose, or what it was trying to portray exactly. They were not necessarily ever part of a story being told. No message to acknowledge. They just were. I'd be doodling her on school desks regardless.

The source material still exists and is being made, but I think the infatuation was always with its own thing in my head, rather than "what it was meant to be". As I matured, I came to develop this perception; growing up, people are expected to learn to mourn for things that were, but now aren't. But what is it called when you feel mournful for something that never was? Foolishness, maybe.

Just a piece of the many stupid games we all have to deal with in some form. Hope you enjoy these PocketPaint doodles.

When I've been neglecting my other saves, and now I'm free to go back to them, but it's been extremely hard to go back to them because I have so many ideas for the save I was neglecting them for.

A Little Recap

well, haven't done one of these in a while.

as we know, all three of my saves corrupted (one of them twice) with one of those last big updates. I've been playing through the one that was still somewhat manageable until I get to the end of the current 'season' we're in.

one of them I deleted and turned into a new save/series.

and the other I'm still working on rebuilding.

it's a lot goin' awn, lmao.

we're about halfway into season 2 of my 80s (it'll be the 90s real soon) series, and if you haven't already, you can read the first 24 episodes here, and season 1 (if you'd like to go back to beginning) here.

Monday we're getting into the new series, New Beginnings, with my babies Kali & A.J., Preston and Jihanna (she has her own side series too).

There's a little update featuring Kaseem & Natalie, as I figure out what I want to do for them and Genevieve ... and their updates will be featured during NB weeks because they're in the same universe and timeline as Kali & A.J.

And then the week after we're picking back up with Dom & Tam with Dom's birthday and his 3-part bday post. The only Leo that can get that much energy out of me, lol.

my problem is i get 5 to 10 new ideas every day and I want to do something with all of them...

even though i have 100 that are unfinished.

I've been building their new save, and it's been so cute and calm, loll.

But I've also started working on some posts for them, and I can't wait to start and get into their new lives.

While I'm working on rebuilding all of my saves; I'm going to introduce "New Beginnings" with Kaliah, A.J., Preston, & Jihanna.

Their first post and new life starts Feb. 23rd.

New location, a new relationship & it's challenges, new faces (including one from @invisiblequeen, and a seemingly familiar face from @simohgi 😉), trait/personality changes, changes in careers, and of course a look into the life of a teenager having to start over.

Unlike their original series, I'm not scripting or controlling anything. I'm letting the game do what it does and interpreting what I see.

my side quest of making custom tattoos for two of my sims has NAWT been going well and now I'm sitting here trying to find something that fits what I need for one of them specifically because my soul is too irked to continue trying on my own, lol.

and now this search is vexing me too.
