This doesn't put Gem and Grian in a great spot, having multiple boogeys and both of them potential targets for all of them. (I do appreciate that it's been honest when it says "boogeymen" vs "boogeyman", it's nice for the viewers, and for the Lifers if they knew how to read)

This feels like the tables have completely turned from last session. A half-standing alliance with the cabin, Impulse and Lost Gen asking to team (and "Pearl-approved"). This feels... strangely ok.

Ok, I've got to eat something, gonna write my final thoughts in a minute. I think a good quarter of my anxiety at the end came from holding off on lunch until I was done watching.
What a video. I'm just... that session must've been insane. I feel like so much was cut (deaths, elims, idk what else), but it still came together really well to tell the story of Gem's finale? She gave us some nice moments to breathe, some quiet moments with Grian that made that final stab in the back... honestly, it didn't hurt that bad. It felt like a free-for-all at that point, but it did still hurt.
I did unwittingly see the end. Grian and Martyn and a square hole. The two places I was referencing for the betrayal earlier was me thinking maybe Gem stabbed Grian in the back instead of the other way around, but it makes much more sense that she was the one betrayed. Oh, what an insane session, what a good season. I'm bouncing around a ton, I don't know what to say. This was incredibly entertaining, incredibly stressful (was that title really necessary? I was on edge for so long because of that, to the point that the moment of betrayal almost felt like a relief), incredibly fun. I'm very happy with how Gem did, even though I'm sad she didn't win the whole thing. And somehow Gem already has me looking forward for the next one.
Speaking of the (potential) next one, this point again (with slight edits to the phrasing, I decided I could write it a tiny bit better): I think it would be so fun to watch Gem play this game like a wildfire at some point. Gem does fun things when she's given freedom to play the game however she wants. After the first few sessions, I thought she was planning on playing this one riskier, but she went safe in the end, and... Idk. I think the bloodlust deserves a place to go, instead of being bottled up in a green. Also speaking of a potential next one, maybe she'll go no allies/less allies? That's what the psyche comment was implying, right? Whatever she does, I'm sure it'll be great.
For right now, I'm so happy for her high placement, a tiny bit sad about the loss, and kinda glad to be going back to normal. Life series is fun, but I don't think I could've handled many more Fridays like this. Back to our regularly scheduled programming sounds wonderful right now.
