Casually Late | Open Starter

If there was anything Quinn hated in life,it was to be late - that and not being appreciated as the work of art she truly is. So when she had ordered her limo to drive her to the party, she hadn't really thought about her wings being too big for it, so she was met with a setback, but Quinn wouldn't be herself if she didn't know one way around things, so she got a heli, it was rather fitting for a fairy to fly was it not?
"so, sorry I am later than planned-"she said to the host when her eye fell on someone looking at her. "Oh? Is something wrong with my outfit?"

Sugar was having a good night so far as she mixed and mingled her way through the party. It was a good chance to catch up with her existing friends as well as trying to make new ones. "Hey, if there's a best costume award, will you vote for me?" She asked as she sauntered over to the next group of people standing around. "I mean it's clearly the most expensive and that's gotta mean best, right?" She asked as she looked down once more at the four figure Carolina Herrera gown she had on, not to mention the tiara with real diamonds that was sitting on top of her head. "But your costume is cute too." She added, the sincerity of the "cute" very much up for debate.
open starterwhere: the hospital trigger warnings: hospital mention, illness context: it was appendicitis and they took it off, if your muse hasn't interacted with finn yet feel free to reply and we can assume a connection it caught finn off guard in class, the sharp pain in his side. he ignored it, as he often did with anything concerning his health. their healthcare wasn’t the best, and he didn’t want to end up in debt. it was hard to tell, from the moment he couldn’t put his leg down and collapsed, how he even got to the hospital. but he woke up groggy and confused, eyes searching for a familiar face and he smiled when he found one. “was it a heart attack? i knew i should’ve laid off the mcnuggets,” he rasped, trying to be funny.
so, am i the only one who's having a bit of a halloween crisis? i usually have my costume ready by now, but i just realised it's definitely not september anymore and i still don't have the slightest clue what i'll be wearing. i'm at a point where i might just put on the roller skates i just found in the back of my closet and go as rollerblade — well rollerskate ken, but that feels a little too 2023. i'd love to hear what you guys are wearing though. maybe i'll get inspired.
two very important things about october 3rd:
i get to exit my tortured poet era and enter my showgirl era - much needed, more than any of you know.
mean girls day! but not the movie-musical, because despite my massive crush on renee rapp, i can't sit through angourie rice's talk-singing. i mean, sabrina carpenter was right there!
...that got away from me. anyway, who else is looking forward to new taylor swift music? and if you're not, what are you looking forward to?
there aren't that many perks to being sick - you miss a lot of things, you start to feel isolated and a little crazy, it sucks. i think we can all agree. however, i finished a beautiful book in one night, like, life changing, and i would call that a win.
if you're wondering what the title is, it's bury our bones in the midnight soil by v.e. schwab!
