                    ❛  this is okay, right?  ❜  he only asks because up until now, they’ve been the kinds of friends who share a cup of coffee over the morning paper. a few jokes toe the line between friendly  &  flirting, so he guesses it shouldn’t be so strange that they ended up here.  a coffee date became a coffee date.  he bends down, just a touch, noses brushing first, index finger tipped under her chin.

❛ MAGIC, NOT THAT I REALLY ASKED     ❜ It all started three months ago when she had been investigating a woman who claimed she was a witch and was kidnapping people for a sacrifice. Not the worst case, not the best. She was told to bring crazy witch lady in   all good, all fine, Claire had that lady captured in a few days. 

But... Then she got distracted. All those pictures of kids on the wall,( an abandoned orphanage was where Claire had finally caught the lady ) and all she could think about was what a child would look like if it was both her and Kate’s and the next thing she knew, the random witch lady she had been investigating told her congratulations, you’re pregnant, right before the transport crew came along. 

Claire herself had just ignored it     the lady was crazy and her medical came back perfect. 

But... More recently she had started to feel bad. She was hoping Kate hadn’t noticed and had resigned herself to falling sick at any point. Never did she have a fever though and well, she went to Fury.  

When she had told Fury, he had just stared at her before ordering her down to medical to get checked     which led Claire right to Kate. Of course Claire doesn’t add any of that to her explanation, Kate can make do with a very simple one. ❛ I have to say, I hope magical pregnancies aren’t that much different than a normal one. ❜

❛ --- that’ll be the ticket.  ❜  bucky bends to snatch up a stalk of hay waving up at him from the ground  &  by the time he meanders back to kate up on the little knoll, he has the straw jawing in the back of his mouth between his molars, little fronds waving like saying hello from his lips.  

❛  all right, kid,   ❜  he says, hand snatching his pistol from his hip, wrist giving it a quick little spin before his hip cocks, hand freezes,  &  finger stops on the trigger with a perfect line at the first bottle.  bucky grins around the pasturage between his lips before handing the gun over.  ❛  --- let’s see what you got. ❜

BRIE. I do not know Brie as much or as well as I would like but Nat took to Kate quicker than I’ve ever seen and brie’s Kate is amAZING! There is nothing we wouldn’t do for either of them okay. And Brie is a sweetheart who deserves all the love and all the happy ever. Also Nat will kill and die for Kate, that is all.
