How does Rook get anything done when Vil is next door looking like this
Also obsessed with how we’re slowly unveiling parts of his torso
Saw this and instantly had a vision
Normal on the outside, inside continuously thinking about how in Book 7’s finale, Vil and Jamil specifically stayed and asked Idia to ensure Yuu (+ Lilia & Grim) is rescued, while the other leaders ran away 🥹
In Book 7, that scene of Yuu watching Malleus as he was visibly angry and made it rain after his conversation in the cafeteria with Lilia & the others left an impact on me ever since it happened
Now it’s making me think even more
The way they noticed him during such a vulnerable moment (for that matter, it was one of those few times he actually showed his emotions), the way Yuu fully stopped in their tracks and looked at him, probably wanting to reach out because that’s their friend, or even worse: they were the only one in the crowd who saw how Malleus actually felt, that deep down he was just a frustrated and scared boy
And Malleus didn’t know there was someone (besides Diafamily) who saw him, way back then, and cared about his feelings
He has been having what he’s always wanted, it just hasn’t bloomed yet - all he saw was a seed buried in soil
Though I still feel so proud of him reaching out to Yuu regardless, and opening up about such an impactful & vulnerable moment to him; he has shown he trusts them, even after such a short time of friendship
...Hey, remember when ob Malleus dragged Yuu back inside Diasomnia, where Lilia was? To keep them both with him?
That sure was a wild time!
He opened the wrong door at C&D’s and ended up in Las Vegas
