Have you read No Longer A Watcher; No Less Than A Guardian (Hermitcraft)?
I have read it
I haven't read it, but I will now
I haven't read it, but I'm in the fandom

Summary:
He can feel it down in the very core of his code. Can see it in the way the cows huddle together in the middle of the field he’s chosen to die in. Pressed against one another like they can sense what’s coming. Like they know they’re all about to be evaporated. Huddling in on himself and bringing his wings up to cover his head; Xelqua runs a hand over a dandelion he’s laying over. He can feel the server’s code being pulled apart at the seams, and he can hear the purple flames racing towards him. Closing his eyes, Xelqua sends out a quiet apology to the stars. For a moment- Xelqua thinks he’s dead and in some form of afterlife. And while he was hoping for there to be nothing at all- he wouldn’t mind an afterlife. He doesn’t know how. Can’t even begin to understand why he was able to withstand the fire of the Reset Code. But he did it. And right now, Xelqua couldn’t be more thankful that he’s alive. --- Or; Grian has his humanity stripped from him; and he learns how to build it back up with a little help from the universe, and a little help from some players.
