Film/TV asks [x]
13. Talk about a performance you hate: uhm...I really didn't like Robin Williams in License To Wed. The entire movie is just trying too hard to be funny, and it just comes off as obnoxious and annoying, and it's one of the few movies I've ever considered just shutting off halfway through. But his character especially just rubbed me the wrong way.
14. What's a character, from tv or film, that you relate to a lot? It's going to sound a little odd, but I definitely relate to Richard Castle a lot. I'm a writer as well, I have a much closer relationship with my mom than with my dad, I haven't grown up with a lot of money, I'm very protective of those that I love, I like to indulge my inner child...the list goes on and on.
15. What's a movie you expected to like/love, but ended up disliking? Okay, I didn't actually dislike it, but I was definitely expecting to like The Desolation of Smaug more than I did.
16. What's a movie you didn't expect to like, but ended up loving? This is actually one of my favorite stories to tell, bc when I first watched Pride & Prejudice (aka, my favorite movie of all time) I so did not want to watch it. I literally only watched it bc I was at my friend's house and she wanted to watch it.
17. What's a show you loved at first, but ended up disliking by the end? I actually have a few for this one: The Office, CSI: Miami, Once Upon a Time and Ghost Whisperer. The early seasons of The Office (let's say 1-4 and a bit of 5) were really good, but it just got less funny as it went on, and they screwed Pam up so much that I couldn't watch after season 6. CSI: Miami was fun to watch for a while, but by the later seasons the writing got sloppy and so much was left unanswered and I'm honestly surprised it didn't get canceled earlier. Also, they broke up the best couple on that show and never gave a reason, so... Once Upon a Time has such a good premise and their pilot season was so good. But then things just got really weird and complicated, and something huge was happening every week, and it just got overwhelming. The writing and continuity got super sloppy. It's like the writers don't even care anymore. I just got fed up with it all. Ghost Whisperer was another one that was really good in early seasons. But then season 4 happened, and I just couldn't take it anymore. First they killed Jim, and then they stuck his soul in someone else's body, and it just all went to hell.
