The deli had closed hours ago, but that didn’t mean the lights were going off any time soon. The first month back in business had proved to be incredibly successful, with the entire community coming out to support one of the biggest staples of Wilmington since the 1970s -- and, of course, that feat hadn’t been accomplished by Owen himself. Cracking open two beers, the male made his way over to one of the round tables that sat in the middle of the dining area and handed one of them to Lili. “I know I owe you somethin’ a little better than a Guinness for everythin’ you’ve been helpin’ us out with, but let’s just say it’s a start,” he arched his brows at his old friend, taking the seat across from her. “Ain’t nothin’ better than celebrating with Ireland’s finest. Don’t care what no one else says.”
