Concepts for Liliana and Garruk's masquerade outfits, because I'm a fucking gremlin and wanted to draw them n o w

Points of interest:

- Garruk's mask is meant to resemble his regular helmet, probably because it was a middle ground between him wearing a fancy mask, and him just wearing his helmet.

-Garruk also refuses to properly groom himself. Dressed all in nice clothes, his hair and beard still read like he's fresh out of a long stint in the wilderness.

-While obviously have their own general looks, Liliana and Garruk's outfits share some motifs: the fur, long side cape, bird skull ornament somewhere on their outfit and similar hem details.

Gjhgfhjhfhjj y'all shit I gotta write this down, I am full of emotions and am going to explode.

Both Liliana and Garruk are responsible for the deaths of innocent planeswalkers- both due to situations out of there control, but in the end it was their doing- and I feel like that could really lend itself to a key bonding element and I am just upset we'll never actually see this particular interaction in canon and, once again, I must do everything myself.

Like, hghhjff, Garruk finds out about the part Liliana played in WAR, and he's expected to hold her crimes against her, but he can't bring himself to because he's just as guilty and ghghghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nobody touch me, NOBODY TOUCH ME!!!

Let it be known that I am going to handle my potential Liliana/Garruk romance with the utmost care, like I'm gonna proceed with caution but

Y'all I just think about their size difference and lose my fucking mind for a second. I think about how Garruk is 8 feet tall and over 400 pounds and I ascend onto a different plane.

I have been sent this particular picture a lot the past few days.

And all I gotta say is: you don't have to read this fic. I could make a post trying to justify what I have planned, and swear up and down that I am going to handle things in a delicate way, but I'm also not out here trying to sell anybody on this idea. I'm not demanding that you be on board for this.

Now that I have a basic idea of what I want to do and how I want to handle very delicate subject matter, the tone of my posts involving planning are going to be a lot less feral, and are probably going to be tagged as "Liliarruk" for your blocking pleasure.

Trust that I'm not going to write a r*pe fetish fanfiction, or a mushy, lovey-dubby romance that sweeps everything under the rug, that's all that I ask, because neither of these are my intention at all.
