so ive once again made another dead dove au where epel suffers bc i haven’t forgiven him for not getting his club card. but also other characters are gonna suffer a bit too…i’ll reblog some art that may have inspired it. i think in this au, lilia isn’t as forgiving as he is in canon so he’s very cruel/ooc, so keep this and the content warnings in mind please <3

the setting in this au is in a more fantasy/medieval setting bc im a sucker for it, with the seven dorm leaders actually being rulers. epel, along with rook, are queen vil’s personal assassins (his poison apple and huntsman <3), tho epel usually is by vil’s side as an “attendant”. when he isn’t at vil’s side, he’s being mentored by rook, who is a much more seasoned “hunter”. although epel is decently skilled and have passed rook’s tests of enduring torture to keep vil’s secrets, vil hasn’t assigned him a mission outside of the queendom.
the seven nations are conflicting with one another, so vil doesn’t want epel to get caught by any enemies. not because he doubts his abilities, but is afraid of the extremes their enemies would go through to break him. though epel doesn’t understand this and wants to prove his worth while also aiding in protecting his homeland. so one night, when epel knows vil will be in heat (maybe he sneaks a herb or potion in his drink to trigger it) and rook will be the one to “attend” to their queen, epel leaves the castle with a bag of supplies and a list of targets.
enter lilia vanrogue, the ruthless general of briar valley. he still had raised silver, but instead of raising silver like he did in canon, he raised him to be an obedient servant, but helplessly devoted to his “father”. maybe silver will also be pregnant with lilia’s baby too. maybe.
lilia already has one captive, idia, the prince of the island of woe they are escorting to briar valley after capturing him in battle on the sea. he was already kind of leading the kingdom in his father’s stead, so he’s a valuable prisoner, but lilia still puts him through the wringer along the way. he may be a beta, but lilia could leo bitch him…
when lilia and his men come across epel, they initially capture him for a bit of “fun”, but lilia finds a heart in epel’s bag. it’s well known vil’s assassin always takes the hearts of their kills to give to their queen as a show of loyalty, so seeing that with epel also attacking so viciously, lilia firsts interrogates him. when he witnesses epel withstands his torture methods, lilia feels fairly certain epel works for vil, so he takes him prisoner as well. he teases epel about it, telling epel he and his men will enjoy having a cute, tiny omega to break in.
after hours of torture, lilia drags epel out of his tent and stakes his claim of epel in front of his men, before he plugs epel’s cu.nt and lets his men use his other available holes. the other fae have drastically different shafts compared to lilia, like ridges or a corkscrew shaped member, so no matter what epel (and idia) can’t fully adjust to being used in such a way.
i haven’t really thought of an end to this au, someone suggested epel getting sent to vil as a warning of what’s to come, or epel completely breaking and betraying vil and rook, but im open to suggestions. may also have knight!deuce be a captive as well c:
