Right now I'm thinking up my own AU for them where instead of Tabaluga's fire it is Arktos's magic that brings Lilli to life. Because of it, she has some character traits that she shares with him. She's stubborn and proud and overall a little troublemaker. She isn't afraid of talking back to Arktos and being mean to him back when he scolds her or attempts to control her. I think Arktos genuinly loves Lilli and cares about her but he shows it in a very possessive and authoritarian way. He can be a strict and imposing parent when it comes to making sure Lilli grows up to be daddy's little evildoer. He wants her to follow in his footsteps and conquer Greenland with him but against all odds and the upbringing that she is given, she has a good heart and a soft spot for Greenlanders (especially Tabaluga) so she refuses to take part in his plans. She does, however, love him back, because underneath the intimidating exterior, she sees gentleness and care that she is determined to bring out in him. She tries to change Arktos's dark, cold heart one step at a time ❄️
