Making Design Accessible: Video Portrait of Lilli Hollein, Vienna

In Vienna, we meet Lilli Hollein, the founder of Vienna Design Week, and learn how making design more accessible to a wider audience is her main objective. 

Lilli discusses the potential she sees in the city’s cultural scene as well as why it’s important to convert even the most devoted disbelievers through design’s functionality, aesthetics and emotional attributes. We then accompany her to the Botanical Garden and her office and the Designweek Vienna headquarters - on Freunde von Freunden.
