I've decided Lillianala should have a robot pal @tulpamom

Her name is Sealey and she masquerades as a gimmicky companion bot that can cling to your shoulder, make little noises and play back audio recordings. The eye blinks and flickers accordingly, but if you flip up her face it can both crack digital locks and scan simple codes.

I figured since Lil is roughing it on the streets she's probably no stranger to dumpster diving and could use something that helps her get into the more high-end ones that have locks on them.

And yes, Ginger has a favourite colour scheme for her bots lol

In my mind Lil and Ginger met bc they were both at the Future "All One Unit of Currency" store and shared the same issue of Being Broke

I imagine that actual paper money got kind of repurposed to be food stamp currency in The Future. They don't really regulate what exactly you can buy with it because there's so few places that even accept it at all anymore that essentially, if you rely on paper money to buy food, you're limited to cup noodles and off-brand cereal anyway.
