Has anyone wondered why my tag was #🩷🖤?

Probably not. But here's the explanation anyway!

When I first appeared on this blog, I simply used 🩷🖤 at the end of my first kinfession which was an apology/love note to Andrew. Even though I never existed during the time of Emojis, I knew that as Ashley Graves, I'd have used both hearts after saying something like "I love you" over text.

Then, I started to appear a bit more. So, I started using 🩷🖤 as a simple emoji sign off, not yet a tag. Just so I could recognize myself. And at the time, I only had 3 known fictotypes: Ashley Graves, Nezuko Kamado, and Lillie Aether. Ashley Graves and Nezuko Kamado both had black and pink motifs, so it made sense to me to use 🩷🖤 to represent myself. Then, as I realized I was sending in more asks, I decided it was time to turn my sign off into a tag. Thus, we have my tag!!

Of course, then I started to discover more kintypes. Which doesn't really fit my tag... So, what did I do? Nothing. For months I never once changed my tag. Until today.

That's right, I, Ashley, am changing my tag to fit a broader scope of my kintypes.

What will this new tag signify? Well, I'm not giving up the 🖤. Multiple of my kintypes have a goth theme so I'm keeping that black heart. I'm adding a 🏳️‍⚧️ for 2 reasons: 1. Quite a few of my kintypes as well as this life's self are not cisgender. 2. The colors match up with pretty much ALL of my kintypes. Finally, I'm adding 🐺 because while I'm a fox therian in this life, the majority of my fictotypes that WERE animals of some kind, were wolves.

Being fictionkin explains like so much of my life.

Why am I always so arrogant? Simple: I at one point was Pride

Why was my favorite subject in school science? I was at one point GLaDOS.

Why do I love Pokemon so much? At one point I was Lillie Aether

Why do I want pink eyes so badly? A few of my kins have pink eyes.

Why do I have phantom wings and a phantom tail? A few of my kins had wings and a few had tails and a few had both.

Why was my favorite superpower teleportation? Two of my kins can teleport.

Why is my favorite of the 'punks solarpunk? Because I lived in a post apocalyptic world as Colin and adapted to it.

I can't put these as a single kinfession because it's just basically 1-3 sentences that no one cares about. BUT... because I have multiple, these are the useless kin facts!

I could shapeshift into an owl, that's pretty much canon. However, I also had a pair of barred owl wings that grew out of my back like angel wings. -Athena (all of Greek mythology but mostly Epic The Musical)

Puro liked being the big spoon despite the fact that he was the typical submissive gay bottom that is pretty much memed on. X3 -Colin (Changed)

What Fortnite got right about me is that in my canon I wore glasses. -Gwendolyn Poole

The 2 LEGO Dimensions Portal levels are not canon, but the test chambers and most of my song (only difference is I don't sing about Batman) were in fact canon. Those test chambers were designed for ATLAS and P-Body. -GLaDOS (Portal)

When doing the Galar Gym challenge, I only made it to Stow-On-Side before I gave up for my own mental health. Especially since afterwards Gym Leader Opal said I had a brighter future that wasn't the Galar Gym challenge. So I went back to Alola with the rest of my family. -Lillie Aether (Pokémon)

Y'know, being fictionkin kinda has started making me think about how my kins would interact if they were put in another universe. Like yeah, I actually can see Ashley Graves and Alastor being friends.

I can see GLaDOS being somewhat of a mother figure to the Worker Drones.

I can see Linkle being a Jedi knight training with Luke Skywalker

I can see Lillie Aether going to the Digi-World and trying to unlearn the ways of how Pokemon work and rather learn how Digimon work.

Ooooo Canonween!

Oh my... I remember during the second half of October, ghost type Pokemon would somehow appear more often.

I got so scared. 😖 That is until I went to Galar and caught my own ghost type Pokemon: Polteageist. I was still scared of it for a while, but I learned from my Polteageist that I didn't need to fear the Pokemon.

Ah! But how did we celebrate? Like most people in this world: trick or treating, corn mazes, pumpkin carving, etc.

Since I never really talk about my other kins besides Ashley Graves since I remember that life the most and is the "high kin" or "top kin" or whatever it's called (I genuinely don't know the term); why not recognize all my kins and kinsiders with the pronoun game! (Not including Ashley Graves as I already did that)
