if they are trying to ignore it now - in my opinion that's a dumb move b/c this isn't the first time 1D has been called out for racism, like liam with DD and harry w/ the headdress, so its like, how many times r u gonna sweep it under the rug. yknow?

i think it's stupid too, but that has been there "go to" move since day 1. they never really acknowledge anything negative or make official statements about their wrong doings. That's always been how it is, so this is not at all shocking to me.

doesn’t matter if he’s 22 y/o guy. he’s not some kid in your class. he’s a celebrity, which means there’s a lot of ppl looking to him and he has to watch what he says and apologize and learn from his mistakes.

i totally agree with you, but it also isnt something he said publicly and if they are (as it seems) trying to just ignore the whole situation, then maybe that is a reason he isn't saying anything. this video was clearly private and (if you ignore theories) wasn't meant to be leaked.
