How to Credit my Edits:

As some of you may know, I make edits. They’recall tagged as lilones.edits, and on each edit post, I tell people to reblog and credit me if they use. However, I never gave any specific details on how to credit me. Well, no more! Here’s how you can credit my edits!

Private Use:

Private use such as using my edits for your lock screen, desktop background, or just hanging out in your camera roll don’t require any credits. If the internet can’t see them, you’re good; no credit required.

Use on Blogs:

When using my edits for headers, icons, ect.; on blogs, credit me by putting, “header/icon/ect. by liltotlilone,” in your bio or links.

Note: This also applies to using my outfits, dni banners, ect., on your blog.

Use on Posts:

When using me edits on individual posts, please credit me individually for every use, or with a blanket statement in your bio/links letting everyone know that that specific edit is from me.

Dni Banners:

Because dni banners will likely be used more often on individual posts than other edits, they come with their own set of rules. If you use my dni banners, please credit me for the first use of each banner. After that, you don’t have to credit me unless you want to.

Use on Other Sites:

If you’re using my edits on another site, please specify that I’m liltotlilone from tumblr, or link my blog in the credit.

Making Your Own Edits:

If you’re using my edit as part of another edit, recoloring an edit, or making small changes to my edit, you need to credit me as you would with any of my original edits. If your new edit is free to use, request that they credit both of us.

General Use:

Do not repost as if they were your own, and do not repost to tumblr. Reblog my posts instead. There’s no reason for you to repost my work when you could be reblogging it.

No matter what type of edit you’re using, or how or where you’re using it, I’d prefer if you credited me with a link to my blog, or by tagging me. Linking/tagging makes my blog easier to find. By tagging me, you’re showing me that people actually like my edits, and I’m interested to see how people are using my creations. If you wanna be extra kind, leave a link back to the original posting of the edit you’re using. This, again, makes my edits more accessible to others.

If I credit another person in the use of my edit, please credit them, as well.
