I’ve seen a lot of people theorizing that Ralsei is trans fem (for compelling reasons) but let me propose an alternative: Ralsei is genderfluid

1. They don’t seem really uncomfortable with being referred to as a boy or assuming that role and they’re not insecure about it either.

2. Ralsei seems to enjoy changing shape? Whether it’s being a plush or a horse they kinda seem to like it? Makes me think that they might have a similar relation to their gender identity where they could like being prince to princess to monarch(I couldn’t find a better word) interchangeably.

3. "I suppose the only difference is how you present yourself" no matter the role Ralsei assumes they still feel like Ralsei

4. Genderfluid. Darkness is associated with water. Ralsei is a darkner. PUN PUN WINK WINK

5. That’s more theory talk but if Ralsei was shaped from a closeted Kris imagination or something like that, that would add on to the genderqueerness of it all

Is it really so hard to use the CANNON pronouns for Chara, Frisk and Kris? Why do people go out of their way to justify misgendering them? It’s almost like they hate that those characters are nonbinary. NO THEIR PRONOUNS ARE NOT UP FOR DEBATE! Yes it’s important even though they’re fictional because it’s representation and fiction does have an impact on those who consume it! How would you feel if a whole part of the fandom said Asgore is a woman for exemple? Wouldn’t you say it’s objectively wrong?

Rating UT/DT/UTMV ships cause I can (part 3)

Inkmare: 6/10

This ship works surprisingly well even when you stick with the canon lore and personality of both Ink and Nightmare. A lot of times people are forced to soften Nightmare’s personality in order for their ship to be at best semi healthy, which I personally kinda dislike. But Inkmare manages to be semi healthy WHILE sticking to canon. I think that because Ink has no soul, the negativity from his vials doesn’t bring Nightmare much so he doesn’t really have a reason to make Ink suffer.

I imagine them to be like « intimidating evil guy and his goofy henchmen » which is a trope I love. I think Ink would help Nightmare from times to times and wouldn’t see his own actions as anything but simple mischief. Their relationship would probably have started like that and then evolved into…something. Not really clear to them either what they are but they wouldn’t care anyway. Overall I think the relationship between them would be about mutual benefit more than anything but if you want to sprinkle a little love in there it’s still great as now you can have fun with two idiots confused on their feelings for one another :p

I have my own bias and don’t personally ship this (mostly due to the fact I hate Nightmare) but I can definitely see why someone might ship this!

Continuing to rate UT/DT/UTMV ships because I can :p

Errorink:

5/10 only because it can be really good as much as it can be really bad

Since we don’t have canon interaction of the two, people can get really creative! The thing is for some reason everyone assume that they’d be enemies right away, which I think is a shame because they don’t necessarily have to be. I feel like often times people make Error and Ink be really ooc to make the ship work or perhaps sometime they didn’t really look at the source material. Also there’s so many making them so toxic (like Ink being a manipulative emotionless ass and disregarding boundaries or Error being physically abusive for exemple) and frankly I don’t personally like those types of dynamics, it personally makes me really uncomfy. I do like when people lean onto the existential side of them.

But well since I’m an errorink shipper I’ll tell ya how I like em: I would make them start as friends, imagining that the whole ‘destroy au’ thing wouldn’t bother Ink because he’d know it just isn’t possible thanks to his knowledge of the meta narrative (don’t know if I’m sayin that right). I think they could hang out together being silly. Eventually they get close and the lines between friendship and romance blur, but they don’t really care and just do whatever they like and feel comfortable with. Yes, I want queerplatonic errorink! They’d act like old pals and old married couple at the same time! I imagine Error just wanting to cause chaos cause he feels like it and Ink going along because he is the “It’s just a prank bro” type of asshole. There could be a little bit of angst relating to Error’s mental health and Ink’s condition. But ultimately no matter what they are to each other, they find a bit of comfort knowing they’ve got each other.

Which ship should I do next? (Don’t hesitate giving me rare pairs! :3)
