Mm well that depends on what type of content do you want (more lore, more builds or more shenanigans), but all of them are good djjcv

My personal favs to watch are Solidaritygaming (not extremely serious lore but still some lore, very entertaining), Geminitay (quite a bit of lore, pretty builds, bonus sibling dynamic) and Smallishbeans (no lore at all because he ignores everything apart from his wife and his brother in law, gorgeous buildings though, very entertaining and editing that makes my brain go brrrrr)

I think Gem is a nice place to start, that's what I did

Late nights are difficult. Even more for a teenage boy who wants nothing more to play around when he should be sleeping. Though, it’s hard to sleep when the house he’s in isn’t his own.

He’s staying the night at Jackie’s tonight. Everyone else had already gone to bed, leaving him alone in the living room. He’s hyped up on candy, and bored out of his mind. Erin’s fingering Jackie’s switch, contemplating turning it on and playing around with some of the games on there. Maybe he could check out Jackie’s Animal Crossnig game, see how far he’s come on his island-

“Hey there champ, why’re you awake?”

Erin jerks forward, shoving the console under a cushion, as if possessing it is a crime. His head whips to the side, expecting to see Jackie walking in on him, but it’s Mar-

No, it’s Vin.

Vin is wearing a grin though as he sits down on the couch next to Erin. He casually leans over and reaches his hand under the cushion, pulling the switch out. “Is this not yours?”

“Er, no,” Erin confesses. “It’s Jackie’s, I wasn’t going to ruin anything.”

“No, I believe you. Though if you ask me, Jackie could use some messing around. What game is he currently...” He trails off as he turns the device on, checking the home screen. “Ah, that island game. I might have to get it for myself. Haven’t played video games in ages.”

“You play games too?” Erin’s eyes widen in surprise. Everything he’d known about Vin beforehand was shrouded in mystery, the man is still strange to him. “I had no idea!”

“Oh yeah! I used to be big into those battle royale games.” Vin grins. “I’m not just a creepy magic man, I could give Jackie a run for his money when it comes to games. I lost count of how many times I whooped his ass and took the number one spot.”

Erin leans closer, fascinated by this. He can’t picture Vin playing video games, but this is still a fun topic. “I want to hear more! You seem really cool.”

“Oh, I could give you all kinds of stories, but you shouldn’t be up right now. It’s near two in the morning.”

“I can’t sleep.” Erin leans back, a grumpy expression on his face replacing the fascination and wonder. “I ate half a bag of gummy worms.”

“I can help you, you know.”

“Yeah, right. I don’t need a lullaby.” Erin snorts as he settles back against the couch. “I’m seventeen, I’m going to fall asleep eventually.”

“Oh, really?” Vin mimics the snort as he holds his hand up, wiggling his fingers around playfully. “I bet you the rest of your gummies that I could make you fall asleep now.”

“Okay, yeah, you’re on.” Erin lifts his chin, accepting the challenge. “Might as well throw in another bag of gummies, all mine, because I’m awake.”

“I’ll take that deal. Bag and a half.” Vin’s grin grows wider as the bet is made. He decides not to mention that people shouldn’t bet against him in the first place. He gets to his feet, taking the switch with him across the room and setting it carefully on a bookshelf for Jackie to find later. He then grabs a spare blanket, and approaches the couch again, holding it in his arms. All the while, Erin is watching him with a curious expression on his face.

“Just listen to me,” Vin says, lowering his voice. He frees up a hand and pulls up a small, spiraling circle of various shades of green and blue, all dull colors so as to not be distracting. “Just listen, and try to watch the center of this.”

“Are you doing what I think you’re doing?” Erin asks. His gaze is already zeroing in on the spiral though. “This is-”

“-exactly what I intended,” Vin continues. “It’s okay, just focus. No need to speak, no need to move, only listen. You can even close your eyes if you wish.”

Erin rests his head back against the couch, deciding to humor Vin. It’s not like he’s tired now. He’s still very much awake, and is planning on being awake for awhile. His thoughts are even drifting back to the switch and playing Animal Crossing, or maybe even Pokemon. He knows Jackie has those games too...

Is he yawning?

He blinks, trying to refocus his thoughts on Vin. Vin is saying...something that Erin can’t fully make out. His voice is too quiet, too much of a whisper, Erin almost wants to ask him to speak up. The thought crosses his mind, and disappears again. He can make out enough; Vin is saying something about...about....

He feels as if he’s sinking into the couch. Everything about Vin feels surreal right now. But even more surreal is the spiral. Erin can’t take his eyes off it. The colors seem to be blending so nicely together, creating a pattern that looks almost familiar, but not at the same time. If he keeps looking, he could probably figure it out.

He’s yawning again. Wait-

He’s tired. When did he get tired? Vin did say it was two in the morning, and it’s not like a few gummy worms can really keep one energized for long. He also had a fun evening, being stupid with Jackie and eating a large meal. He’s just being stubborn by staying awake....maybe.

He wants to say something to Vin about this, that maybe he was right, and that Erin should go to bed after all. Vin is still saying something, still speaking, and Erin’s wondering if he’s speaking in a different language. Irish? He’ll have to ask later if Vin is also fluent in Irish like Jackie.

He doesn’t remember when his eyes closed. They’re closed now and Erin realizes he doesn’t want to open them. It’s fine, he’s fine. He knows he’s safe, the place is protected with magic, so it’s not like anything’ll happen to him. He settles back as much as he can into the couch, letting himself drift off to the sound of Vin’s whispers.

They’re almost sounding like a lullaby of their own, and it’s easy to fall asleep to.

Vin finally stops whispering. It’d been too easy to lull Erin down into a sleep-like state, and he makes a mental note to make it up to the teenager later. For now, he spreads the blanket out across the boy’s figure, adjusting him only gently so he doesn’t wake up with any cramps later. The last action he takes is picking up the bag of gummy worms from the ground.

With a satisfied smirk on his face, Vin slips out the front door to go home, slurping up a gummy worm. “Another point for me,” he whispers to himself. “When will people learn to quit betting against me?”

🎵 singing voice for Jameson when he still had his voice?

oh… well now i feel sad xD poor JJ, i made him go through some rough stuff, im so sorry baby T_T

JJ was always soft-spoken, and he was the same when he sang. he liked singing and humming while he worked on something, and when he’s alone- he didn’t like being walked on while he sang, it makes him feel self-counscious.

he was a tenor; his singing voice was breathy, a bit rough, and he often slipped into falsettos when the songs got a bit high. he didn’t have much range and had to switch octaves often in order to keep up, which he found jarring and annoying.

he always had a good ear, so he was always in tune. his voice was untrained though, so he sang quietly, because trying to be louder would just makes his voice crack and go off-key. but when you heard him, you could feel that there was potential there, just waiting to be polished through good practice and tutoring.

he regrets not singing more while he still could.
