argument in favour of physics : you need to learn about radiation especially. for cancer treatments, arguments for and against nuclear power plants, about microwave radiation in phones, sun tanning ect. tbh it's radiation that is mostly covered in GCSE science, which is the compulsory physics. after that is where you begin mechanics and most electronics, because that stuff isn't compulsory so isn't forced on people.

idk but most of that isn’t stuff a regular person /really/ needs to know, y’know? like being able to count money, or knowing that chest pains are probably a Very bad thing

but yeah the radiation in phones + from the sun are two very important things to know about i’ll give you that uwu
