Marc Jacobs
On Valentine’s Day I received Marc Jacobs Absolute, and it has quietly become my favorite perfume. The scent is warm but controlled. It opens with a subtle fruity brightness, moves into soft florals, and settles into vanilla, amber and musk. The base is smooth and slightly sweet without being heavy. It feels composed and intentional.
I like how it wears close to the skin. It is noticeable, but not loud. Clean, warm, confident.
Now I associate it with that specific day in February. Not in an overly sentimental way, just as a clear memory. Some scents do that. They mark a moment and stay with you.
