I saw Iron Lung for the third time yesterday at my local theater. The movie was originally showing in auditorium 13, which is smaller than the rest. They usually use it for limited-time showings, throwback movies, and such.

The first two times I saw the movie, there were parts that were too dark or the sound was off, almost blown out. I knew there was no way the movie would actually release that way, so I chalked it up to the theater.

When I saw it in auditorium 14, the clarity was so much better, it blew me away. Idk what they deal with 13 is but they really need to fix it.

This is a really long way to say that I heard a line in the movie clearly that I thought I had misheard and I cried.

Taking myself out for a solo dinner at our local brewery. I’ve gotten into beers the last couple years and have been having such a great time tasting different ones and being able to have fun conversations with the staff!

Honestly, it’s heartwarming to have a place where people notice I haven’t been in in a while and they ask about me!

I wish my BIL would educate himself once in a while. I cannot imagine seeing and hearing about all the horrendous shit happening right and my first question being, "Well, what did they do?" as if victims deserve this!

My husband tries to explain and educate him, but he just doesn't listen.

well, guess i'm back again for the millionth time lol

i've been getting back into my hobbies after a mental health crisis. my brother is also getting back into manga and ask me for recs, so i figured the best place to look was my old tags!

i hope to actually stick around for a while this time!

Due to a work opportunity that arose for my brother, my family moved to GA, so it's just me in KY now. T-T

I'm going to take some time off work in July to visit. I've never been GA before!
