i couldn’t even cry, i was so mad. i totally thought it was a fake-out until the very last moment though, like i was laughing with my mum like ‘they’re obviously not killing rayna this is dumb’ until that last scene. i feel like i’ve just invested so much emotion into rayna and her family, and to have them go through all the drama just for her to die in a freak accident was so dissatisfying. if they’d just kept the show cancelled then at least in my head rayna and deacon have a happy ending.
i don’t know what there is in the show to make people want to watch now? scarlett and gunnar have just been exasperating of late, juliette’s finding jesus story is boring me, will’s role seems to have been majorly reduced this season. i don’t know what cmt's vision for nashville is at all.
