“There she is! Over there!“
Billy whispered harshly, pointing at a bookshop ahead of us.
“Come on! Get a move on! It's now or never!“
“Are you sure this will work?“
Alex replied quietly, leaning against his hands to prevent him from pushing him.
“I don't know about this.“
“Of course! I'm dead sure this will work! I know this is gonna work! Trust me, Alex! Good luck!“
he shoved him roughly and retreated behind the nearest corner of a house, peeking from behind it.
He felt his heart beating in his chest and he could practically hear the blood rushing through his veins as he stumbles forward, towards a young woman with brown colored hair and beautiful brown eyes.
She was Monica, and she was his best friend, as well as his long-time crush.
He just managed to catch himself before he bumped into her and slapped on a bright smile to conceal my nervousness.
He greeted her in an upbeat tone.
Monica looked up from the books behind the shop window of a bookshop and fixed her brown eyes on him.
She said, flashing him a broad smile which made his heart beat faster.
“How is your day?(haha)“
“It’s good.”
“What are you doing here, if you don't mind my asking?“
“I took a walk through the city and, well, I just ran into you.“
My gaze flickered back to where Billy was hiding, and he gave me a thumbs-up, grinning encouragingly.
“Are you free right now?“
He asked.
“Yeah I am.“
“Do you want to come with me to my place?“
“My dad brought a liquor from mexico with him and you want to give it a try with me?“
Monica nodded.
“Yeah. But not that much.“
“Of course not.“
He said. Hopefully everything goes according to Billy's plan.
“Should we go now?”
Monica questioned.
“Yeah sure.“
Gathering courage, He grabbed her hand and dragged her along with me.
From the corner of my eye, I saw Billy emerging from his hideout and following us
Time skip
“I know I said I wouldn't drink so much, but this liquor is great! It tastes like gasoline!“
Monica exclaimed in a slurred voice.
“Please, top up my glass again, I can't get enough of this liquor!“
Grasping the bottle of Amaretto liquor, He complied, filling Monica's glass to the brim and topping up his own glass as well.
He was already tipsy himself, but not as drunk as Monica sitting next to him on a stool at the bar.
“Thank you!
She replied, downing the liquor.
Another Time Skip
„Y'know, Alex …“
Monica began, sighing heavily.
“Hm?“
He hummed.
She ran her index finger along the rim of her full glass, evoking a deep sound.
“There's this one guy I really like …“
She slouched her shoulders.
I sat straight up.
“I think he doesn't like me back. I often eat dinner with him, but he never says a single word, and I feel ignored. “
He frowned.
“What's his name?“
“Pizza.“
He nodded, staring absentmindedly in my drink.
“Sorry to hear that, Monica. I'm sure you'll find another one.“
She heaved a sigh.
“I hope so too. But there's also this other guy. I've got a crush on him for a long, long time. “
Now it was my turn to sigh.
“Are you speaking of Ricardo ?(of course cause everyone says that!)“
She shook her head.
“No, no.“
“Who are you speaking of then?“
“His name's Alex.“
TIME SKIIIIIP
Monica stirred next to me and stretched herself, yawning. She smacked her wonderful lips, breathed a sigh and turned over, sliding her very skilfull hands beneath her cheek and yawning again.
Smiling, I scooted closer to her and put my arms around her, burying my head in the crook of her neck.
I mumbled against her soft skin.
She groaned and ran a hand through her tousled brown locks.
“But geez. I have a killer hangover and you, Alex?“
I felt her freeze and stiffen and couldn't help but grin cheekily.
“Uhhh.“
She echoed.
I let go of her and watched her peep beneath the blanket, her brown eyes widening in shock and her cheeks flushing scarlet from embarrassment.
She turned around slowly.
She slowly sounded out and covered her eyes.
I sat up and bent over her, gently grasping her hands and pulling them from her face. I smiled at her.
“We did. We were both drunk, but for my part, I don't regret it at all.“
Monica sat up as well, making sure that the blanket covered her chest and looking away, obviously embarrassed.
“I don't regret it too, because..I love you...“
I took her hands in mine and kissed both of their backs.
“I know. I love you too. But, if my memory serves me right, we already said that yesterday.“
“Oh.“
I leaned forward and pecked her lips, smiling all the time.
“Ready for round two, so that we both remember it this time?“
She blushed.
“But my head hurts and –“
I leaned further forward, making her lean back onto the bed.
“Don't worry. I will make the pain go away.“
OK U HAPPY! I knew u wanted one soo ya....Plus I was bored.
