it's carmine!! my beloved! carmine genovese aka carmine bliss is a young and relatively new inductee to the crime syndicate libra, an organization that values secrecy so closely that most of its lieutenants used to communicate completely anonymously without knowing each others' identities. nowadays it's a little more lax, but a lot of information on libra's operations is still on a strictly need-to-know basis.
that's (partially) where carmine comes in! they manage a nightclub called the disco underground that doubles as a secure location for information brokering and shady deals. most of the booths can be closed off to be completely soundproof, and most of the bartenders/go-go dancers are experts both in eavesdropping and in defusing situations if they get a little too hairy. carmine outwardly appears to be extremely carefree and more concerned with having a good time than with anything else, but they're very good at what they do and they love being underestimated. they worked their way up to being a libra lieutenant in a little under a year, and most of their older peers in the syndicate respect their hard work.
they also have superpowers in a lot of universes ive rped them in! they exist in vprp as a side character (running a bar for supervillains) and they were my pc in a tendencies campaign for like a year. their powerset is usually being able to sap kinetic energy from other people via touch and apply it to themself/others for an instant energy boost. in tendencies this led to them being kind of a glass cannon because they had to get in touching distance of whoever they were fighting to power up their attacks and it usually led to them being curbstomped before returning to combat like 3x more powerful than they'd been. fun stuff.
their family is jewish-italian and they are very loud all the time and they are incredibly tight with each other despite all living in different states. they have two older sisters named francesca/frankie and pia and a younger brother whose name i don't remember (i want to say angelo???) and also a bodyguard named rocco who is their bestie who basically lives in their house and knows a bunch of information he probably shouldn't because he's the person carmine tells stuff to when they feel like they need to tell a secret or they're going to explode
