15 hours of comments complaints and tagging @dior BEFORE #limecrime finally gave proper credit for the image they grabbed off #pintrest to promote their business. See further back for the original post.. Just because you remove the artist credit or watermark and add a filter doesn't mean it becomes your artwork. Give credit where credit is due regardless of who you are, and what kind of artwork it is. I chalk this up with grabbing a photographers image, removing their watermark and using it as promotion for your website or Magazine or whatever. It's wrong plain and simple. This happened to a friend of mine not long ago where someone in another country took one of her photoshoot images and used it to promote their business without her permission or even giving her credit. It got really messy for a day or two but it was finally resolved to both parties satisfaction. Limecrime should really know better by now.
