Limestone Way
I recently completed another long distance walk along the Limestone Way from Castleton to Rocester via Matlock, we actually walked from Hope Station to Uttoxeter Station. This view is from the first day relatively near the start in Castleton This is in Cavedale, the very first bit of walking that occurs immediately after leaving Castleton Looking back to Youlegreave at the start of the second day of walking View from High Tor, the place in the background is Cromford which contained our bed for the night The third day of walking from Cromford to Mappleton was lovely, these views were typical of the scenery we passed through The last day wasn't so good but there were a few good moments, as shown above.
Day 66 random field to random farm. My feet are very saw today. I need clean socks badly. Most of the day I spent hiking along farm after farm. I went pass the JCB World headquarters. Spending way to much on treats now there is more shops and pub meals...
