May 8th - A New Cycle

I’m not sure what I was expecting when I told L1LL4 about the customs of birthdays - after all, she seemed terribly excited by the whole idea. I suppose I should have guessed he was going to throw a party when they asked when I first remember waking up here. I tried to tell her that time didn’t move the same as he remembered, but it didn’t seem like that mattered much to them. L1LL4’s sweet, planned this whole thing - even if it was just a banner and a small cake she couldn’t eat, it was the sentiment that mattered. Perhaps birthdays can be celebrated no matter how time passes.
