I'm a huge greek mythology nerd, and I'm so incredibly excited to see what the ccs are gonna be doing!!

I hope the ccs don't feel too restricted by the info about the gods out there IF they are basing their characters on existing ones (which is very likely). the gods are such a broad concept, they cannot be contained in a single little box, and most (not all!!) of the information we know about them comes from just a singular place in Greece; Athens. in my opinion there is not really a right or wrong way to portray any of the gods (however i'm not talking to a certain webcomic) and I really hope the ccs get as creative as they can be. I pray the fandom doesn't try to police them on accuracy.

speaking of the fandom and accuracy - i am 99.9% sure there will be so much shipping discourse due to many greek gods and figures being related in mythology. zeus and hera are siblings, in some versions of mythos aphrodite is related to both hephaestus and ares (though this is a slightly more recent version of her origin myth compared to the oldest known one of her being born from seafoam), and many more. I mean, look at the epic fandom and the hermody shipping discourse.

I really hope the fandom will be normal about this all, please don't make it weird for the rest of the fandom OR the ccs. let them be creative. this is a modern interpretation, not an exact and accurate retelling.

hey guys! i'm finally putting together an online art portfolio where i showcase my favorite pieces of art i've made in recent times, and also show some stuff i don't post on tumblr, such as my original characters, minecraft skins i've made, etc! i'm hoping to build it even more as i go, and hopefully garner more interest in the work i do as i do want to open proper commissions in the near future! if you're interested in the stuff i do it would mean so much if you could show your support!
