Hi Lele! Been reading some of your limitless debacles and i wanted to say something. So regarding how Gojo controls points of space and how infinity is actually countable, the reason why it's unbeatable seemingly is because if you take a look at space for example, you wouldn't really be able to cross it, at all. which is why i agree with you saying that gravity is the way to overcome this, normally space cannot be traversed by any normal means and it makes so much sense why he says infinity exists everywhere, so to do this, crossing one point of space that keeps expanding endlessly to another would require a sort of hyperdrive something that is faster than light or well works like gravity, it basically crosses one point of space into the other immediately hence the whole point. Which is why it cannot be done by any other normal means and why jjk villains cannot lay a finger on gojo, none of them so far have space related powers or even gravity that allows them to exceed speed that would bend it. I hope all this makes sense lol i was half awake

Yep, this, anon. You sum this very nicely despite being half-awake, kudos to you! As long as there's still a gap of the smallest distance - even at atomic scale - between him and his opponent, he can still use limitless which makes him literally invincible. Even traversing the distance using super speed is not enough since he can just expand the space between endlessly. On the other hand, gravity not only “bend the space" based on relativity theory, but on top of it, also add force of attraction so enough force of gravity might be able to neutralize it.

I think Uro has some potential if we ever see her fighting Gojou (which probably won't happen lol)

LMAO I’m sorry this blog suddenly too nerdy. Okay, nerdier than the usual, since usually it’s only me pulling shitty theories out of thin air lol

So, in a nutshell, Gojo’s ability is to manipulate space at the level of atom. Say there’s always an infinity between two numbers, Gojo can make that ‘real’ to say. He can manipulate, either to extend (repel) or shrink (attract) space between one atom to the other. So to overcome this we have to ‘turn off’ his cursed technique by neutralizing it using special tools, like Miguel’s black rope, or Papaguro’s Inverted Spear of Heaven, or using cursed technique that also manipulate space. Speed alone is not enough to overcome his technique, but space must also be involved to get through limitless. 

The answer is gravity. Based on relativity, gravity ‘bends’ the space, so if someone later is introduced as having gravity manipulation as their cursed technique, they will be the archenemy of Gojo’s technique since gravity can neutralize the space manipulated by the limitless.

One of the possible candidate, in my opinion, is Fushiguro. His shadow has been shown to be deeper, he may even have a whole domain inside his shadow. The darkest shadow in the universe, as said, can be black hole. If his technique expansion is verging into that direction, it will be exciting. It also supports the canon that the only one who was able to go on par with Limitless-Six eyes user is a Ten shadows user.

Gojo would be such an interesting case study for physicists. Like, how does he detect infinity? Can he feel each atom/electrons individually? Can scientists do experiments with his ability? I'm no physicist but I would expect physicists to love studying Gojo's abilities. Imagine researchers applying grants to do experiments with him haha.

Based on what we got from canon so far, he should’ve been able to see each atom. How convenient is that? He’s like a walking electron microscope lol. And maybe we can even see how quantum mechanics actually happen naturally in real time without any complicated tools. That’s actually very exciting!

Wouldn't a technique that was able to control gravity be able to surpass Gojo's infinity? Because he slows down space so somebody who controls gravity would be able to move faster? Does that even make sense lol I'm just thinking about that theory of relativity

You know what? I actually had the same idea about this once. Gravity seems one of the solution to overcome Gojo’s limitless since it theoretically ‘bends’ space, so limitless can be solved. Black hole is known to have very strong gravity pull. 

Why black hole? Well, remember how Fushiguro’s shadow seems to have ‘room’ in it that he uses to store weapon? Since you can say that black hole is shadow because it does not even let light escape, it’ll be interesting if one interpretation or technique expansion of his later developed into this direction.

Hi! Maths person here. Super speed would not work. As infinity by definition is unreachable. Like that's the whole point.

(2)  Also same maths anon. To the previous anon who thought of Gojo's power in terms of series, they're not too off the mark.but instead of halfing the distance, why not think of it as 1+2+3+4+..... Or any other divergent series? That would make more sense. But to tell you the truth we don't need to think too hard about it, since he's not ACTUALLY running calculations in his mind. It's just a similar concept. Infinity exists between any two given real numbers. Now instead of numbers think of two points in space.

Yup, agreed. Even super speed seems won’t work against Limitless. The 'distance’ is unending, so there’s literally no end point that can be reached. Also thank you for the two cents on the infinity.

So if you can't reach gojo by the way of movement no matter the speed than a form of teleportation? I didn't study any form of science to make a logical explanation and I'm using my comicbook and sci fi brain. Imagine the x and y graph we all did in highschool. Gojo is the middle dot in the graph. His technique expands the lines and/or double the points so we never reach him. So if a person with teleportation powers is at point 3 and limitless is doing what those science anons explained. Instead of trying to reach gojo by way of movement and force what if they just teleport to where he is?

That’s possible, but as long as there’s even a space of an atom, I guess Gojo still can manipulate the space between to ‘extend’ it into infinity. If I understand it correctly, teleportation needs an ‘end point’, but limitless erases that ‘end point’, so teleportation is still mighty difficult. Well, maybe we can do teleportation if it’s like worm hole theory. You make a shortcut of two far points by bending the space. The keywords here I think is to ‘bend the space’ or maybe eliminate it since that’s what limitless manipulate. I guess you need another technique that also manipulate the space to reach his person.
