Shell within a shell
summertime, and the living is easy... by Emma Bradshaw Via Flickr: use a limpet shell for a squeeze of lemon for your gin & tonic on the beach! emmabradshaw.blogspot.com/2009/06/summertime-and-living-i...
Obsession With "Mint"
I have a disorder that basically compels me to buy anything and everything that is mint colored. This also includes shades of teal and limpet shell. I don’t have a name for this sickness yet but I know for a fact there are many out there suffering from it too.
I will be sharing with you the effects of this disease and just how far it has spread throughout my home. Another side effect of this illness is my obsession with pastel colors! They also look so cute!
#LimpetShell for this weeks #Colour_Collective, trying out @drew-green‘s cartooning brushes.
I like Limpet Shell
Pantone has announced its trend colors for Spring 2016. The ten colors, according to Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman, should, “...transport us to a happier, sunnier place where we feel free to express a wittier version of our real selves.” That sounds amazing! Sign me up.
This set highlights one of the cool colors: Limpet Shell. This aqua hue looks great with brown, tan (Pantone’s Iced Coffee), orange, peach (Pantone’s Peach Echo), pink (Pantone’s Rose Quartz), other greens and blues. And a gazillion other colors. It’s entirely appropriate for work. As is every other color in the world.
Limpet Shell. Hmmm, shall I do a set featuring Snorkel Blue, Green Flash or Fiesta next? Fiesta, I think. I need more red in my life. Let me know if there is a color combo you’d like to see styled for work. I’m here for you.
