No no no! What is it with scientists thinking that deafness is an illness that needs to be treated? Instead, why can't they figure out a way for the hearing community to accept and accommodate those who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing? This wouldn't work for everyone, just like CIs and HAs don't work for everyone.
