Hey folks, we are making another announcement post because we received a message about something we want to address.

The biggest driving force for any rp group is interactivity. If people are not chatting, or interacting, or reaching out and plotting, it's hard for the group to thrive. We know we are very lucky that we have had such a big group for so long and we are thankful for everyone that is here.

We want to stress the importance of branching out and interacting with one another. We have said it countless times before, but a like and a comment goes a long way. As someone with characters in the group, I can confirm that sometimes a silly interaction on the dash leads to a super fun and in-depth connection. Every friendship and plot has to start somewhere, so we do just ask that everyone tries to branch out of their bubble/friend group. The group has almost 100 members and nearly 195 characters- for everyone to feel included, we do all have to try and put in that little extra effort into it.

We also believe that you receive the energy you put out there as rp is a two way street. If you've gotten this far, please comment with your favorite color. If you are only logging on once every few days to make a post and are not interacting with others, it's going to be hard to establish connections. We are not asking that everyone is online all the time, nor are we asking that everyone is friends with each other, but we want everyone to be participating in the group.

As a reminder, just be sure to check your chats spam folder, because we all know that google sucks and will not always show when you have a new message. Please be mindful of this when liking plot or friendship posts.

If you have any comment, questions, or concerns, please reach out to us directly. We are more than willing to do whatever we can to make everyone feel comfortable in this space.

Happy Saturday angels! It's a new month which means it's time for another monthly house cleaning post with some reminders for everyone. We'll put it under the cut so we don't spam the dash x

Once again, we are just reminding everyone to take a quick glance at both the masterlist and connections pages to make sure everything is up to date. If there's anything that needs to be included, please let us know so we can update that for you! If there's an update that's not public information, just be sure to let us know so we can have it crossed out so people know they can't talk about it.

Sometimes chats suck. We all know it. People get stuck in invites or as we've recently been seeing, have been sent straight to spam, which usually does not include any notifications. The mod team has done some testing and we're not sure why some messages are sent to google hell, but it does truly seem to be random. This is just a reminder to periodically check the invites and spam folders- especially if you've liked any plot call or friendship posts!

Do us a quick favor- if you've read this post, please give it both a like and comment with your last used emoji. No judgements here on the emoji and if you have more than one character, don't worry about doing it for all of them. Doing it just the one time is totally fine.

And finally, we know the dash moves fast and that different people come online at different times of the day. However, with almost 100 members and nearly 200 characters, we want to keep encouraging interaction on the dash, especially with folks your character doesn't already know. We're not asking everyone to be best friends, we just want to see a continued effort at reaching out and making everyone feel welcome here, which includes making sure that no one's posts are sitting with 0 notes.

Hello angels! We hope you've all had a pleasant start to your week. We just wanted to let you all know that we've updated our rules a bit. The updates aren't anything too drastic, but we want to tweak how we gauge activity and how we process activity checks. Don't worry, this weekend's activity check did not reflect these new rules.

As the group continues to thrive, we want to make sure that we are doing right by you all. The updates primarily focus on what we are considering as activity, hiatuses, and the three strike rule for the activity checks. Ultimately, these updates are to encourage activity.

Hello angels! We wanted to just very quickly address the spam anon message situation.

At this time, Tumblr is currently facing an influx of spam bots pretending to be Gaza fundraisers. These messages are all identical in nature, it's hard to verify the campaigns they represent, and they are being sent to blogs who have all the settings turned on to prevent people from finding them. We know these can be a bother, so at this time we are requesting that you either just delete them or turn off anon completely, as this will resolve the issue.

We do kindly ask that you refrain from either joking about these anons or posting about them on your blogs. Although they are spam bots, the crisis in Gaza is very serious and we don't want to make light of these matters. Due to member comfort, we've always requested that political topics or real world disasters are avoided being brought up publicly on the dash in this group. This is no exception.

Alright lovelies, once again we are coming at you with this month's housekeeping post full of general reminders for the group. We're putting it under the cut, but please be sure to read and like this post.

If there has been any notable updates to your character's connections, please be sure to send us an ask or dm so we can get this page updated. Anything that's secret/private information will be crossed off and will be ooc knowledge only. As a reminder, when a character is unfollowed, we do update this page accordingly and delete any mention of that character, so if you re-app, please just be sure to mention those connections again.

We wanted to post a quick reminder about the nsfw tag- both "nsfw" and "nsfw text". This tag is more inclusive than just things of a sexual nature- it covers anything that could get someone in trouble for having it on their phone at work. We know some people work in very public places, including child care, so we just ask that everyone is a little more mindful with their tagging. If a photo shows excessive skin, such as lingerie/underwear pics or side/underboob, for example, we ask that you use this tag. We're not trying to be prudish or limit what you can post, we just want to ensure that anyone can access the dash at anytime without worrying about what they might come across.

Related to the above, if you are concerned about what might come across your dash, please be sure to add "body image", "nsfw", and "nsfw text" to your blacklist to ensure that the tumblr filter catches and blocks these posts for you.

We know that most of our members play more than one character, which we absolutely love to see. However, if you play multiple characters, please just ensure that you are not having them interact. A passing, general mention is one thing, but you should not be having you characters discuss each other in detail, having rp moments with yourself, or using knowledge one character has to benefit another.

And finally, we are once again reminding everyone to come to us off anon. If you have a concern about anything in group and send us an anonymous ask, it is going to be disregarded. We are more than happy to get involved and speak to members as needed, however we will ask for screenshots/supporting evidence to make sure we fully understand and can better handle the situation. Broad complaints on anon moving forward will simply be deleted.

Can we get a drum roll, please.....

To celebrate the one year anniversary of the group's opening, Lunastry Inc is organizing a musical festival! From April 18th to the 20th, we invite you all to participate in and attend Supernova Fest, a festival organized in celebration of all you lovelies who make this group what it is.

This is an optional event, but to make it more special and interactive, we are turning to you all for help to create the line-up! To participate in the festival, please fill out this form. Submissions will close on Sunday, April 13th at midnight EST. If you are a musician signing up to perform, we will be asking for a small set list from you. Not a musician? No worries! There's sections on the form for vendors- whether that's flash tattoos, baked goods, potions and enchantments, etc- and an open section for anyone who feels like they have something to offer. Wanna try your hand at being a security guard for the weekend, or you want to sling merch for one of the acts? Just be sure to specify within the form.

If your character is simply attending the festival but is not participating in the line-up or other activities, you do not have to fill out the form.

We will post more information on the weekend schedule and location on April 14th once we have compiled all of the submissions.
