Alright folks, it's that time of month again where we like to address certain things in the group. Instead of a list of reminders, we did want to have a more serious conversation based off of the several anons we have received this past week or so.

At the time of writing this, we have 188 characters and 85 individual writers. We understand that there can be slow periods on the dash and that not everyone is going to be online all of the time. However, there is no reason posts should be going unacknowledged. You don't have to have a full conversation in the comments of every single post you see, but we want to see more interactivity. We've said it before but even a simple like goes a long way.

That being said, we know it's also easier to be active and interacting online when the dash is open and friendly. We try not to limit what you can and can't post about, but it's been brought to our attention that certain kinds of posts make the dash uncomfortable to be on. Remarks regarding posts we make on the lunastry inc main blog, self deprecating posts regarding selfies or text posts not getting enough attention, and passive aggressive remarks, both pointed and vague in nature, should not be made on the main. These types of posts can of course be posted on your sideblogs, but posting them on main has made enough people uncomfortable that we have received multiple asks and dm's regarding it. Please respond with your favorite dinosaur.

No one is in trouble, but moving forward, if we see these posts or these kinds of posts are brought to our attention, we will be reaching out to you and asking that they are removed. Repeated offenses will be given a warning.

At the end of the day, this is a hobby that we all love to participate in. We all want to see everyone striving just a little more to make this group feel more inclusive and welcoming.

Finally, please just be mindful when sending in anons. We know situations can be frustrating and discouraging, and we have received many anons that are sweet, but please do not take out those frustrations on us. If you are having issues or want to discuss those frustrations, we want to help and hear you out! We can only do so much when we just have anons to go off of. Please help us help you.

Hey folks, we are making another announcement post because we received a message about something we want to address.

The biggest driving force for any rp group is interactivity. If people are not chatting, or interacting, or reaching out and plotting, it's hard for the group to thrive. We know we are very lucky that we have had such a big group for so long and we are thankful for everyone that is here.

We want to stress the importance of branching out and interacting with one another. We have said it countless times before, but a like and a comment goes a long way. As someone with characters in the group, I can confirm that sometimes a silly interaction on the dash leads to a super fun and in-depth connection. Every friendship and plot has to start somewhere, so we do just ask that everyone tries to branch out of their bubble/friend group. The group has almost 100 members and nearly 195 characters- for everyone to feel included, we do all have to try and put in that little extra effort into it.

We also believe that you receive the energy you put out there as rp is a two way street. If you've gotten this far, please comment with your favorite color. If you are only logging on once every few days to make a post and are not interacting with others, it's going to be hard to establish connections. We are not asking that everyone is online all the time, nor are we asking that everyone is friends with each other, but we want everyone to be participating in the group.

As a reminder, just be sure to check your chats spam folder, because we all know that google sucks and will not always show when you have a new message. Please be mindful of this when liking plot or friendship posts.

Hello angels! We wanted to just very quickly address the spam anon message situation.

At this time, Tumblr is currently facing an influx of spam bots pretending to be Gaza fundraisers. These messages are all identical in nature, it's hard to verify the campaigns they represent, and they are being sent to blogs who have all the settings turned on to prevent people from finding them. We know these can be a bother, so at this time we are requesting that you either just delete them or turn off anon completely, as this will resolve the issue.

We do kindly ask that you refrain from either joking about these anons or posting about them on your blogs. Although they are spam bots, the crisis in Gaza is very serious and we don't want to make light of these matters. Due to member comfort, we've always requested that political topics or real world disasters are avoided being brought up publicly on the dash in this group. This is no exception.

Alright lovelies, once again we are coming at you with this month's housekeeping post full of general reminders for the group. We're putting it under the cut, but please be sure to read and like this post.

If there has been any notable updates to your character's connections, please be sure to send us an ask or dm so we can get this page updated. Anything that's secret/private information will be crossed off and will be ooc knowledge only. As a reminder, when a character is unfollowed, we do update this page accordingly and delete any mention of that character, so if you re-app, please just be sure to mention those connections again.

We wanted to post a quick reminder about the nsfw tag- both "nsfw" and "nsfw text". This tag is more inclusive than just things of a sexual nature- it covers anything that could get someone in trouble for having it on their phone at work. We know some people work in very public places, including child care, so we just ask that everyone is a little more mindful with their tagging. If a photo shows excessive skin, such as lingerie/underwear pics or side/underboob, for example, we ask that you use this tag. We're not trying to be prudish or limit what you can post, we just want to ensure that anyone can access the dash at anytime without worrying about what they might come across.

Related to the above, if you are concerned about what might come across your dash, please be sure to add "body image", "nsfw", and "nsfw text" to your blacklist to ensure that the tumblr filter catches and blocks these posts for you.

We know that most of our members play more than one character, which we absolutely love to see. However, if you play multiple characters, please just ensure that you are not having them interact. A passing, general mention is one thing, but you should not be having you characters discuss each other in detail, having rp moments with yourself, or using knowledge one character has to benefit another.

And finally, we are once again reminding everyone to come to us off anon. If you have a concern about anything in group and send us an anonymous ask, it is going to be disregarded. We are more than happy to get involved and speak to members as needed, however we will ask for screenshots/supporting evidence to make sure we fully understand and can better handle the situation. Broad complaints on anon moving forward will simply be deleted.

Hello everyone!

We just wanted to make a post with a little reassurance. You'll notice with the latest activity check that we have a handful of unfollows. This is all characters that were lost to the holiday busy-ness.

I know our numbers of been decreasing and it has been a lot quieter in the group, however we want to assure you that we don't ever plan on closing the group ever. This is our little sandbox to play with our barbies and we are happy to keep it that way regardless of how many characters or members there are.

We have always set out to make this a safe and welcoming place for anyone that wants to play barbies with us and will continue to do so. Over the next couple of weeks, we are going to work on adjusting the rules to fit the size of the group now and will give you notice when that goes into effect.

We love and appreciate each of you and thank you for hanging out with us. As always, our inbox and messages are always open to requests, ideas, and reserves!

Hello lovelies and happy October 30th! We just wanted to make a real quick reminder post- kinda like our monthly housekeeping, but far shorter than usual.

As we know, the group has gotten a little smaller over the past month or so, but please don't worry, we promise we aren't going anywhere. This is just a reminder to check over our connections page and let us know if anything needs to be updated! Whether something needs to be removed, added, or tweaked, please send us an ask or dm so we can make sure this information is up to date.

And finally- we did say this would be a short post- we've been thinking about some little events/activities for the rest of the year and wanted to hear your feedback! Tomorrow, we have a cute little interactive ask game we'll reblog throughout the day for people to participate in, and the mod team has been discussing a secret santa style event for December, but if there's anything you guys want to see or participate in, please let us know! We know the last few months of the year are an especially busy time for people, but we still want to do something fun for you all.

Hey everyone, we wanted to address something real quick.

This isn't the first time we've posted a reminder, but we are hoping this is the last. If you have an issue with someone in group or an issue with something that people are posting, you need to come to the mod team to discuss it. You will never get in trouble for coming to us with something- we want to make sure this group remains a safe and comfortable space and will do whatever we can to ensure this for you all. Sending anonymous hate directly goes against that message and is something we don't tolerate.

We are not making it mandatory, but at this time, we are recommending that people turn off the anonymous feature.

We also want to highlight the importance of our tag list. Everyone has been really good about adhering to the list and tagging posts accordingly. If there's something on this list that upsets you, makes you uncomfortable, or is a trigger, we encourage you to use the blacklist feature to block that tag to ensure that you don't see posts regarding that content. If the tag list is missing anything you want to see tagged, please let us know.

Hello lovebugs! As we all know, summer is fast approaching. This is usually a very busy time for everyone, us mods included. As the group continues to grow, we want to make sure we have the support we need to keep this group active. We're the biggest and longest running bandom rp group on tumblr (which wow, oh my god? thank you all <3) and our goal is to continue staying open for as long as people need a group to call home.

For the sake of the group, and to ensure our current team doesn't get burnt-out over these next few months especially, we are looking for additional help. No former mod experience is needed- after all, running a group has been new to us all as well- so we encourage anyone to apply that feels like they have something to offer to the group.
