For the Rose ask. Do you think any of the Strange variants need glasses? Like, actual glasses to see or reading glasses? Mainly because I think they’d be hot wearing them but I want your take on it.

Can’t believe you put idea in my head, now I can’t stop thinking about Strange with glasses now 😩

Disclaimer: these are my headcanons, and my opinions about each variant. If you don’t agree with any of these, do keep your opinion to yourself 🙃

616-Strange uses glasses for mainly reading purposes. While he uses his magic to steady his trembling hands, I also think he uses magic to fix his eyesight as well. It’s not a permanent thing of course. He only uses it when he has to read and what not when he’s around other people. When he’s alone and need to work, I definitely think he’s wearing it.

Defender!Strange uses it for both near and far sighed. That man probably has astigmatism and used to wear contact lenses before he learned any magic. That being said, he also uses magic to help fix his vision, and wear his glasses when he’s alone in the library, or too tired to use his power.

Supreme!Strange is too proud to admit that he needs glasses. This man uses magic for everything, even the idea that it’s best to go get his eyes check out. He’d rather squint through the spell books rather than admit he needs glasses.

Sinister!Strange he doesn’t know what those are or why he needs them. The Darkhold words are big enough for him to read, why the hell does he need to get glasses 😂

In my humble conclusion, our Stephen and Defender!Stephen are the only two “humble” ones that admit to using glasses.

Also, long hair Stephen with thick rim glasses is living rent free in my head 😳 imagine him dramatically taking off those glasses and looking up at you with his hair down…yeah, um, I want 10!
