hi hannah i just wanted to pop in to tell you that i've officially applied for my schools social work program! the deadline is october 15 so i won't get a result until the end of the month but i am so excited (and a bit anxious) about it!

it rly warms my heart to see so many future social workers on tumblr. this field can be challenging but, oh man, the rewards are worth the work that you put in. to see people improve, succeed, and find happiness? there’s nothing like it! if you ever have any questions, or just wanna chat, pls pop in again!! hi!!! i’m sorry to hear about the results you had for your big paper, but i wanted to send this message to let you know that you took a big step to post about it, and do so honestly! i just happened to see a post from someone else about studyblrs and how things in the community can seem fake and unreachable - it was so good to see something as real and raw and honest as your post. i wish you all the best with the assignment and we’re all rooting for you. lots of love!!

awh, thank you, lindsey!! it was kind of hard to share (and I almost didn’t) but I am glad that I did! seeing other people become inspired by it was enough to make me feel better about my own shortcomings, if that makes sense?? I think you’re right about the community sometimes being unreachable. I’ve felt that way too. but hopefully more people can learn to be honest about their failures too, and not just the successes!
