i’m new!

helloooo!! this is going to be an super cool new studyblr introduction post (i hope)!!

 my name is lindsey & i’m 19 years old!

 i’m currently a sophomore at a small liberal arts college in west michigan. i work on campus at our library!!

 at the moment i am planning to apply for my schools social work program (deadline is october 15th!!! stay tuned!) but currently my major is psychology.

 i struggle daily with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) & have since i was around 7 years old. I plan to post often about how my mental health affects college/university life!!

i created this blog to help motivate myself to be a better student and to be inspired by others!!

if anyone has any suggestions for people i should follow let me know!!

studyblr (re)-introduction

hi hi!! so i’ve been in this community for a while, but it seems like a good time to reintroduce myself? so that’s what i’m gonna do!!

 my name is lindsey (linds is fine too!) and i’m 19 years old (click here to see some photos of me!)

i’m a sophomore (in my 2nd year) of college

i attend a small liberal arts college based in my hometown, so i commute back and forth to school daily!

school & things:

currently I’ve applied for our social work program & i’ll find out the results at the end of this month! (cross your fingers for me?)

since the program at my school is accredited with the national council (CSWE) there’s only a certain amount of undergrads that get accepted, and there is certain criteria that must be met to get in.

my college is only around 3,500 students and I LOVE IT. the biggest class you will ever find here is a lecture with around ~50 students, so it’s very common here to cultivate good relationships with your profs and the college’s staff. A lot of times professors here invite you to their homes for special events and things, because some classes are easily 10 students or less. 

other random things:

i ADORE harry styles! I’ve been a fan since I was around 12, and he still has my heart.

i also love: sending letters to penpals, writing in my journal, and iced coffee. 

i have two pet rabbits, their names are ollie and leo, & they live inside our house with us! i love everything about them and rabbits in general lol. (fun fact - rabbits are very easy to litter train, just like cats!)

i get attached to others pretty quickly, i am fascinated with the idea of falling in love, and i am a sucker for cheesy romance movies for that exact reason. 

fav (not cheesy) movie of all time is pride and prejudice (version with keira knightley as lizzy)
