Wardruna

I had the amazing opportunity to see one of my recent favorite bands, Wardruna.  I flew out by myself to see them in DC. The experience was unbelievable. I actually found them at the breakfast area in the hotel I was staying at the morning I flew in. Words cannot describe what it was like to meet these people. I wanted to cry and tell them how much their music touches my soul..but alas..all I could do was thank them for coming out the states. I even managed to get a picture with them. To be that close to musical geniuses is so hard to convey. Einar Selvik has undoubtedly changed my life as I am sure he has with others.  Then to see them that night perform, was an experience that is hard to put into words. They made my soul cry that night. The sound of the instruments paired with vocals from Einar and Lindy-Fay...fantastic. Fantastic doesn’t even seem like a good enough word to use.  I cannot wait to see them again.
