Linenopolis:
Map of Belfast’s industrial heritage showing locations (in the north & west of the city) of mills mainly related to the linen industry. Some of these building remain, others have disappeared. Belfast acquired the nickname Linenopolis as it was the world’s largest producer of linen in the 19th century.
