Day 03 | 100 Days Project
A rainy day in the Netherlands in June! Thus today’s colour scheme combines yellow and (silvery) grey – inspired by the identity created for CreativeInformatics in 2018, … and as it happens Pantone’s colours of 2021.
Typeface Replica (Light) by Swiss Typefoundry Lineto. A foundry definitely to bookmark and keep coming back to!
Note little corner details in this typeface, where stem (vertical line), leg (downward vertical line) and stroke (would classify that as the upward line in English?) meet.
In this project I’ll explore typography, colours, form, shape in a quick morning exercise for 100 days (part of 100 Days Scotland project). Occasionally, I’ll add further nuggets of information for the chosen typography, foundry and colours.
