I've had this headcanon for Leo being a better chess player than Donnie for YEARS. It's actually an idea that I've planted and has done its rounds in the fandom in the years leading up to this. I'm glad I finally get to dive into it properly. This is going to be a much shorter story like my early Arcs for Replica but I just love little character studies such as these so please indulge me!

I have been wanting to draw Replica Donnie for a WHILE now.

He has one of my absolute favorite future designs; it's so cool!!! Replica has been one of my favorite fan comics since I got into Rise. It's so well-written, with the gripping plot, the witty dialogue, the true-to-character voices, the Rise brand of humor, the callbacks and easter eggs, and just capturing the show and movie's whole vibe overall. And the comic itself! The art is amazing! The style, the effects, the framing, the character designs, the expressions. It's all so incredibly immersive and captivating!!!

Kat, keep up the good work, you're a brilliant writer and artist :)

Recommended listening: FFVII REMAKE: The Airbuster. (I feel like it just fits the vibe and covers the length of the video so well)
