Ling Yao (FMA)

This was a pretty basic project, because it was only the jacket. The most time consuming part was the satin stitching that I did along the hem line of the jacket. If you’re curious how I do satin stitching, I have a tutorial here. 

The fabric I used was a linen like material, which gave the jacket a really nice texture. Both the yellow and white fabric are a matching fabric type. 

Overall this was a pretty simple project! I like having smaller projects like this to work on

I legit titled this piece that ahahaha whoops lmao It’s been a while but I’m rewatching FMAB and had to draw my son Ling lmao I’ll probably do more doodles of other chars in the future, I really wanna draw some of the other characters ^w^ 

I was mostly just messing around with effects and brushes, and while I like how this one came out I wish I’d saved the version I didn’t mess with too lol Ah well, I know for next time. I do like this version a lot tho, it’s ya boi Ling lookin a lil melancholy and whimsical lol
