In the very far back corner of Lingfeng, tucked behind the eagle mountain, was this shrine. Apparently, monks actually live here still. It was a very secluded area -- a beautiful area -- but not many tourists at all. We passed a group of school children doing sketches of the mountains here, but quickly felt really sorry for them as they had to sit there -- this picture has just made me remember how many bloody mosquitoes there were over the two days.

There was this interesting staircase with the zodiac animals carved alongside, leading up to a cave. I’m not really sure why, but the animals were kind of cute.
